Frequently Asked Questions
What do they mean... steel
chairs allowed? No, not exactly. But here are a few of the Frequently Asked Questions that
we have set out to try and help you better understand.
1. How many XFL
Teams are there, and where are they located?
There are eight XFL Teams: New
York/New Jersey,
Los Angeles, Chicago,
Birmingham, Las Vegas, Memphis, Orlando, and San Francisco.
2. What's the deal
for Training Camps?
The full training camps will be run from January 2nd-28th, 2001. Rosters will be
made final on January 28th with 38 active players, and 7 players on the practice squad.
The Eastern Division teams
are holding camps in Orlando, Florida, and the Western Division teams have camps set up in
in Las Vegas, Nevada.
3. How many G's will
a player in the XFL be making?
First off, the following numbers are just base compensation... the players can
actually make more if they win, but we'll get into that in FAQ # 5. QB's get the most G's,
as they will rake in $50,000. Kickers will make $35,000, and players at all the
other positions will make $45,000.
4. Bonus System...
what's a Bonus System?
Glad you asked. Players in the XFL can increase their salary through incentive bonus
payments during the season. Each player on the active roster of a team that wins the game
will get $2,500 per win, and if their team is lucky and wins the whole enchilada, they get
$25,000.

contracts in the XFL?
Contracts are a standard 6 months, with an option for an additional year.

No, but if anyone does, let us know how to obtain some!
9. How can you get tickets to the XFL Championship game in April in Las Vegas?
No word has been released on how anyone can obtain tickets to the "Big Game in the
End". We will keep you posted if we hear anything.
10. How can you watch XFL in the UK?
Good question. We have not received any information about whether the XFL will be
broadcast in the United Kingdom or not. As of now there are no secured television deals
with any of the broadcast outlets in the UK, so you guys might be high and dry this
season, unfortunately.
We're not sure how satellite deals work over in the UK, but if they offered a package with
US channels, that might be your only way to see the XFL.
Well, we hope we
answered your questions. If we didn't, too bad... Just kidding. Back to main page.... |
