All good things must come to an end. Friday, March 30, 2001 was definitely the end of an era in the Nittany Wrestling Federation as "LiveWire" Dave Desire and Rick Silver wrestled their last matches, while "Zero Gravity" Mason Cage made his return to an NWF ring.

BREAKING NEWS: Arafat suffers broken foot, main event at VIP in jeopardy
It was revealed Monday afternoon after extensive medical examinations, that NWF Champion "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat suffered a broken left foot during the tag team main event match at Retribution on Saturday. The extent of the injury at this point is not fully known.

"LiveWire" Dave Desire: Remembering a Legend - a biography of the former NWF Champ
At Cybermania on February 10, the NWF fans voted "LiveWire" Dave Desire as the #1 contender for the NWF Title for VIP 3 on March 30, after being almost a year since the last time we saw Desire in an NWF ring. The LiveWire's once brilliant career, which included two reigns as NWF Champion, and reigns as University Park Champion and one-half of the tag team champions, came to a brutal end after VIP 2 last year.

The NWF announced at Pain State that an "Ignite The LiveWire" campaign has been started! The campaign's goal is for fans to e-mail "LiveWire" Dave Desire to get him to step back into the NWF ring!
