A LITTLE ABOUT US...
The Nittany Wrestling Federation
(NWF) is the only legitimate professional wrestling organization operated out of a college
or university in the United States. This is a fact that we have a lot of pride in, to be
the originators of something and to set the standards for those that come after us. The
NWF is the product of a lot of hard work and effort by the members of the Penn State
Pro-Wrestling Club.
Don't be confused. This is NOT backyard
wrestling. And this is not a bunch of college kids beating each other up in some gym in
front of 10 people. The members of the Penn State Pro-Wrestling Club themselves do not
wrestle. Instead they are the ones who help to organize the NWF shows. They are the ones
that set up and tear down the ring, set up bleachers and chairs, work the video equipment
and sound system, as well as announce the action, and promote the shows on the Penn State
campus.
The wrestlers of the NWF are all trained
professionals from throughout the Eastern United States who work the independent wrestling
scene.
Besides operating the NWF, which is
the primary goal of the Penn State
Pro-Wrestling Club, the club participates in a other activities such as pay-per-view
events, road trips to wrestling shows in the area, and a lot more. lf you are a Penn State student, and you have a love of professional
wrestling then visit the Penn State
Pro-Wrestling Club webpage for more information about the club's activities and how to
join.
